National Poster Making Contest

National Poster Making is one such popular competition motivates students to use their knowledge in creating visuals to raise public’s understanding about the significant theme.


Arts & Crafts Contest

Arts and crafts activities are enjoyed by all. Students from all over Pakistan participate in creating unique, innovate and interesting artworks on given space themes.

Introduction of digital art let hobbyists of all ages, conveniently create artwork on their laptops, phones or tablets and participate through online submission of their digital creations. This activity was well received by kids and adult alike, constructively engaging them during COVID times.


Model Making Contests

Model making contests arranged for school students, encourage them to brainstorm and come up with new ideas. Presenting the models helps in building confidence, and developing communication and critical thinking skills.

The revamped SEAD also introduced concepts of digital 3D models and software based simulations in contests like space monument designing, and satellite model designing


Water Rocket Contest

Water rocket, it is one of children’s most favourite activity and an efficient activity to deliver key concepts of rocketry combined with hands-on launch experience.

SEAD not only holds training and contests nationwide but also provide platform to compete on international level organized by Asia Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF).

In recent times astrophotography has become an increasingly popular activity among amateur astronomers, photographers and young hobbyists. SEAD organizes Astrophotography contest for general public.
